Scranton Counseling Center, the area’s largest, fully integrated, comprehensive behavioral health provider has an opening for a licensed or licensed eligible clinician for the Outpatient department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

                     Serve as primary/lead therapist to a caseload of active consumers.

                     Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team in the planning and delivery of direct therapeutic services.

                     Serve a primary role in development of a consumer specific treatment plan in compliance with CCBH/MA/Center policies.

                     Maintain all clinical charts in a compliant fashion.

                     Complete all required documentation in an accurate, legible, and timely fashion.

                     Computer proficiency to function effectively utilizing an Electronic Medical Record.

                     Update treatment plans on a consistent basis per M.A./CCBH regulations.

                     Establish collaborative links to other agencies and services utilized by the client, as necessary and appropriate.

                     Provide crisis stabilization and limited case management services as appropriate.

                     Achieve established individual productivity standards for the program.

                     Utilize an Electronic Medical Record System as implemented Center wide.

                     Comply with Corporate Compliance Policies and Procedures, HIPAA Policies and Procedures; maintain charts in accordance with Scranton Counseling Center Quality Assurance standards, Commonwealth (OMHSAS) and CCBHO requirements.

Education, Experience, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

                     Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field.

                     Must be licensed or licensed eligible

                     Maintain valid PA driver’s license.

                     Must have access to a reliable, insured, vehicle during working hours.
